Christmas 2015 at Bishopscourt was very busy full of fun and Entertainment which had our residents enjoying themselves most evenings. We had our annual visist from Goggins Hil Church Choir. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Christmas Carols followed by some festive refreshments.
Serendipity delighted the residents with their Christmas Show on the 14th December. A couple of days later the very talented Amand Neri popped into the nursing home to give our residents a real treat of classical songs.
Thursday 17th December was the Christmas Extravaganza where we were visited by Goggins Hill National School who song a medley of Christmas and pop songs nuch to the enjoyment of the residents. There was a surprise visit from Santa for the children and the residents and staff were delighted to see him also. In the afternoon there was a Christmas themed quiz with mince pies and mulled wine. In the evening we had the fantastic Irish Weavers play for the Christmas party. The residents and their families along with the staff partied late into the evening a truly great night was had by all.
Christmas Day brought John and Regina in for Karaoke followed by live music with Neasa De Baroid .
